USRowing Jr. National team
"I must keep on rowing, not until I reach port but until I reach my grave." -- Madame de Stael

According to their web site, “USRowing’s Junior National Team represents the U.S. at the World Rowing Junior Championships each year.  Athletes are selected to the Junior National Team through selection camps.  Selection camps are by invitation only, and spots are offered on the basis of performance at an ID camp, video or audio tapes of performance, competition results, National Team Testing results and physiological characteristics.  Through these same ID Camps there are a number of unique developmental opportunities available for younger athletes including High Performance and Development Camps.”  Since 2002, Liz has been a coach with USRowing’s Junior National Team programs.  In 2011, she became USRowing’s Women’s Head Coach.

CBC athletes regularly qualify to participate in these different USRowing programs.  In 2016, two CBC athletes were invited to USRowing’s Development camp, three to the High Performance camp and three to the Selection camp.  Of these, two CBC rowers competed at the Club National Championships, one at the CanAmMex regatta and two at the Junior World Champioships.
