CBC Development Program
"Internally, you experience rowing as a graphic microcosm of life - solitude, learning, work, rest, nourishment, sharing and ultimately challenge." -- Allen Rosenberg

CBC’s Development Program practices three afternoons a week during the Fall and Spring.  It is a nice way for younger athletes who are new to crew and who are not yet ready to make a full-time commitment to the Racing Team, to learn to row and experience what it’s like to be out on the water in a crew shell.  The program is open to any athletes in 6th-12th grade with an interest in learning to row.  The team meets at the CBC “Boathouse” which is located at Oyster Bend Marina, 23 Platt Street, Norwalk, CT.

The next CBC Development Team / Learn to Row session will start on April 4, 2022 and will run through May 26, 2022.  The program will meet at the CBC Boathouse on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4-5:30pm.

To secure your place in the Development Program, please download and fill out the forms below and mail them (along with your check) to: CBC at 23-1 Platt Street, Norwalk, CT, 06855.  As always, if you have any questions about rowing, CBC, learning to row, or the Development Team, contact Head Coach Trond at (203) 843-8177 or by emailing us at ctboatclub.events@gmail.com.
