Development Team
"Internally, you experience rowing as a graphic microcosm of life - solitude, learning, work, rest, nourishment, sharing and ultimately challenge." -- Allen Rosenberg

The Development Team is the first stop on beginning your rowing journey. The Development Team is an introduction to the sport of rowing and many times it is also the introduction to learning the CBC rowing technique. Both coxswains and rowers will learn the fundamentals of rowing and what being on a team is all about. Typically, the Development Team is home to Middle Schoolers but all student athletes are welcome! The team practices three afternoons a week during the Fall, Winter and Spring Seasons. In the Summer the girls practice in the morning (info below).

Fall, Winter and Spring Practice times are 4:15-6pm Monday, Thursday and Friday

Summer Rowing Camp times are 9am-12pm Monday-Friday

*during the school year we modify times for athletes who live further or have later school dismissal
