Programs · Winter
Winter training.
Indoor training at the boathouse, late November into spring. New rowers are welcome. Registration opens in late October.
Who it’s for
Start spring stronger.
Winter is where the racing season gets built. Athletes come out of it stronger, fitter and more confident.
It’s also great cross-training. Rowing is full-body and low-impact, so girls who play another sport stay strong for it.
Girls in grades 7 to 12 are welcome, with or without experience, and don’t need to be on a CBC team already. The coaches place each athlete on the team that fits her.
Where we train
- At the boathouse: rowing machines, bikes and running along the river.
- Strength and agility work at Gold Coast Strength and Conditioning.
