The Saratoga Invitational regatta was a successful racing weekend for the Connecticut Boat Club girls ahead of their next major regatta, Northeast Regionals. The girls were all smiles embracing the sunshine, wind and rain. But of course, it isn’t too hard to do so when your coach spoils the whole team by treating to some delicious ice cream!
Saratoga Springs, NY turned its attention to our water based sport (instead of the horses) for this annual event. With a 6 lane course laid out, the CBC River Rats saddled up and let their blades do the talking…well other than their coxswains!

Yep, that is in fact a lot of hardware! What an incredible weekend for the team, many of the athletes raced in multiple events having the opportunity to showcase their skills. This team of champions works hard day in and day out.
